This is a crucial step in ensuring the stable operation of the ship's power, navigation, loading and unloading, communication and other systems. It covers all levels of maintenance from basic circuits to intelligent central control, and is never a simple or one-sided maintenance action.

Some positions require holding relevant certificates such as ship electrician or automation engineer.

(3) It is necessary to follow the classification society standards (CCS/LR/ABS, etc.) and the ship construction standards. All repaired and replaced equipment must pass the inspection and be qualified.

At present our mainly maintenance coverage areas as below:

1. Ship power system: Fault detection and troubleshooting of main and auxiliary engine power generation/distribution equipment, emergency power supply; line repair, component replacement, as well as calibration and adjustment of the distribution board to ensure stable power supply throughout the ship.

2. E/R Automation (CMS/PCS): Inspection and repair of PLC/DCS controllers, sensors (temperature/pressure/level), actuators for main engines, auxiliary engines, boilers, and ballast water systems, as well as fault elimination and parameter reset of the E/R monitoring alarm system (AMS).

3. Automation of auxiliary systems: Electrical control circuits for refrigeration, air conditioning, oil-water separation, wastewater treatment, and cargo handling systems; commissioning and repair of variable frequency drives (VFD) and soft starters.

4. Communication and monitoring: Maintenance of internal/external communication equipment such as PA system, video surveillance, fire alarm systems and so on, ensuring effective communication and safety monitoring.
