That is a story about adventure, you also can call it gamble. Can you be assured for sending your ship property to some stranger, especially during such case that you have not enough time to order new spares before sailing, the stranger can perform their promise to you and at last bring back your property with required service result ? Nothing can be forgive for ship delay, which is the stringent rule be known by all relevant authorities and people.

It was happened about 4 months ago, there was a Vietnam ship get berth at some shipyard in Shandong for repairs , before the beginning of ship repairs, it was lucky we have met the duty superintendent in his shipyard office for simple introduction and company brochure submit along with whatsapp added. With the conduction of each repair program, we got the sharing from superintendent that all job had been done well by shipyard, we are happy to know it. Same as what we shared with superintendent at the beginning, we would like to his additional choice when he need, then give us a chance to start the initial cooperation between us. 

Just few days before ship departure, urgent calling from superintendent for order 2 sets new slewing bearing for vessel bunker crane along with outline specification (That 2 units of bunker crane slewing bearing assembly heavily rusted on the bearing surface & balls' raceway along with grease nipple blockage , leading to rotary function failure)

, have checked with relevant slewing bearing supplier then we found remaining time is not enough for delivery before ship departure. Can you image how is the nervous emotion and helpless upset of the responsible superintendent, being previous seaman, we give fully understanding of such headache matter, then we are trying best for other solution with all our heart and soul 

Thanks to our experiences hydraulic technician who has more than 20 years experience in hydraulic system maintenance filed,  who is familiar with all kinds of ship hydraulic machinery and their maintenance details. After carefully checking all the details , our technician promise to superintendent that we can perform the repair service of above mentioned slewing bearing and return back to ship within required time interval.

Then quickly response with below action taken as per actually situation and plan:

1. Arrange transportation truck to pick up above mentioned 2 units slewing bearing from shipyard , then deliver them to our local workshop 

2. Relative maintenance service conducted accordingly in correct procedure stated as below: 

 (2.1)Preparation of torque decomposition of tooling, then dismantle done completely 

 (2.2)Re move the old & rusted balls, new balls ordered in time

 (2.3)Grinding & polishing the outer & inner rusted area of the bearing , so dose the teeth & balls raceway

 (2.4)Remove the rusted & broken greasing nipple , renew with new nipple. 

 (2.5) Installation new track balls with normal and correct procedure (eye socket assembly) 

 (2.6)Filling with greasing oil through the nipple, function test with satisfied results smoothly rotation 

3. Packing properly on transportation truck, final delivery such 2 units slewing bearing assembly to shipyard workshop with fully precaution, noticed ship superintendent and all relevant shipyard duty people
